Our School Support Worker, Franceen Innes, supports students and the broader school community by providing pastoral care services to enhance the emotional wellbeing of all.

Our school receives funding from the Australian Government Department of Education under the National School Chaplaincy and Student Welfare Program (NSCSWP). The aim of this funding is to assist schools to provide pastoral wellbeing services to support students, staff and the school community.

Franceen Innes continues to be our school support worker for 2022.  Franceen has worked in our school and local community for many years and brings a vast knowledge to this role. In 2018, Franceen successfully completed a Certificate IV in Community Services, through Federation University, in preparation to undertake this role.

  • Work with staff and students to provide engaging activities to foster the social skills of students.

  • Work with staff and students to create a productive and engaging learning environment for students.

  • Assist families outside the school environment to offer support when required.
  • Support and assist with the transition of new students and their families into the school and local community.
  • Work with secondary settings to provide support for students transitioning into the next phases of their learning.
  • Work within the local community to promote the school’s identity and purpose.
